Receiving Updates

When running Jenson8 software, it is essential that all users have the latest updates installed to avoid compatibility issues. If you are running a different software build to someone in your lobby, you will receive an error message in-game which will not disappear until the correct build is being used.


Jenson8's software updates are deployed to all compatible platforms simultaneously, and will be downloaded automatically on your device(s) as long as you have installed them from one of our official release channels, these channels are listed below:


Meta Quest VR

  • Meta Quest Store
  • ArborXR
  • ManageXR

Windows PC

  • Jenson8's URL Installer
  • Microsoft Store (Boomerang only)

PICO VR (Apollo only)

  • PICO Business Store
  • ArborXR
  • ManageXR

To ensure you have the latest update ahead of a session, launch the relevant app on your device, some devices may not be prompted to install the update until launched.
