Meta Accounts

Meta accounts are a new way to access and manage Oculus devices without the need for a personal Facebook. You can set one of these up even if you have already set up your device on a personal Facebook account (which was required until now).

Meta accounts are per individual, not organization. To use multiple headsets within an organization, you will need multiple Meta accounts. However, attaching a personal Facebook account to the Meta account or to the headset itself is no longer required.
