Apollo

The current release of Apollo is 3.3.42r. See the link below to download the Windows client and instructions for installing on supported headsets.

For PCs running Windows 10/11

The Facilitator/desktop application can be downloaded from this link: https://j8cloudvr.s3-eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/installers/apollo/release/Apollo.application

Once installed, you will be able to launch Apollo from the Windows start menu. Apollo will check for updates upon launch, so any new updates will be installed automatically.

Please note desktop users cannot participate in Apollo as an A player.


For Meta Quest consumer headsets

Apollo is now available on the Meta Horizon Store. To add it to your library visit the link below and log in with your Meta account:

You can also search for 'Apollo' in the Horizon Store, but be sure to check that you are installing the Jenson8 App Apollo. You will be able identify it from this app icon:

If you previously had an installation from one of Jenson8's private release channels (excluding ManageXR and ArborXR channels), please delete and reinstall from the Horizon Store.

 

For Pico Headsets

Apollo is available in the Pico Business Store, please note you must be logged in on an Enterprise headset to access the store.

If you manage a fleet of Pico headsets via an MDM or would like to install Apollo via a sideload. Please contact support@jenson8.com to discuss access.

 

Managing a Headset Fleet

If your organisation manages a large number of headsets you may wish to use a Mobile Device Manager such as ManageXR, ArborXR, or Meta Quest for Business. If this is the case for your organisation, please contact support@jenson8.com to discuss setting you up on our MDM release channels.
