Creating a Session
From the home page, choose the "Create Session" link in the Applications box.
The Applications listing will show the Jenson8 Applications that are available to your account (J-LEAD, J-DEI, J-LEARN etc). Click Create Session for the application you want to use.
The Application settings form will open. Choose a title for your session. This will be shared with all session participants.
Choose the User Group from which the session participants will be drawn. See the article Creating and editing User Groups for more information on this.
Choose which Application you will be using, either:
- Apollo/Boomerang Basic - for sessions deliveries where Psychometric Reports are not required.
- J-CLP, J-DRIVE, J-Lead, J-Learn (for development), J-Learn (starter) - for sessions deliveries where Psychometric Reports are required.
- Apollo Cloud - for installations with tethered PC VR headsets, eg Vive Cosmos. (Only available to a few partners, Apollo Cloud is now a legacy product)
Select the date and time for the session. Make sure that the time is correct for your current time zone (you can edit your current time on your account settings page).
Click Create Application Session to confirm your choices. You can see the process in the video below.
Editing Sessions
Once you have created a session, you will see the Session page.
You will need to add Users to the Session in order for participants to join Games within it. Participants can be added from existing Users in the User Group that you have configured for the session, or new Users who have not yet taken part in a session.
To add a participant to your session, click the Add Participant button at the bottom of the Participants menu. You will see the Add User dialog.
From the dialog box, you can either:
Choose an Existing User
The first section will list any users who are members of the chosen user group for this session. Select all users or specific user from the user group, then click Save Changes to add them to the session.
Create New User
Add the name and email address of a new user to participate in the session. They will need an email address to sign in to the Jenson8 dashboard and take any pre-task or post-task survey.
