Earbud Information

To avoid audio issues Jenson8 recommend simple, wired earbuds.

• Jenson8 recommends that participants are supplied with earbuds as standard during group events.
• Do not use phone headsets. Participants do not need mics or volume control, only stereo earphones.
• The cables should be standard length, so they will need taping up shorter as they are being plugged into a Quest on the participant’s head (not a phone in your pocket). Securing the excess cable with tape or a cable-tie will reduce the likelihood of the participant from catching it with their hands while using the controllers and pulling out their earbuds.
• Any players preferring to use their own wired analogue stereo headphones/earbuds are welcome to do so. Connection is by 3.5mm stereo jack.
• The following earphones can have their buds swapped out between users:
  • Sennheiser CX 100 Ear Canal Headphones - Black
  • Sony MDREX110LPB.AE Deep Bass Earphones Black
    • These come with 3-4 sets of tips. (S/M/L/XL)
    • Issue the correct size buds – after all we are looking for a few hours of comfort, not 24/7.
