J-LEARN
J-LEARN is a psychometric application focused on developing a learner mindset where individuals see failures and mistakes as opportunities for growth, rather than a reflection of their potential.
To accomplish this, J-LEARN measures 4 primary constructs:
- Improvement Mindset
- Openness and Accountability Mindset
- Goal Setting
- Sustained Effort and Challenge Mindset
J-LEARN utilizes the following components:
- Pre-task survey
- Personal Assessment
- Peer Assessment*
- Reflection Questions*
*Indicates this component is optional. In order to get the best experience, Jenson8 recommends incorporating all of the features that were intended for the application whenever possible.
Measurement consists of both an onboarding survey that collects personality trait information, a post-game peer assessment, a selection of predictive metrics recorded by the headset, and the participants' own responses to the feedback they receive. For a full overview of the J-LEARN application and pillars, please refer to the overview deck attached to this article.
All J-LEARN workshops are lead by a trained Jenson8 facilitator. Jenson8 facilitators act as a guide and discussion leader for the team. Facilitators should empower others by providing a safe, professional, yet exciting environment, allowing individuals to explore and develop.
For additional information on the role of Jenson8 facilitators, as well as supplemental materials used before, during, and after a J-LEARN workshop, please refer to the coach notes deck attached in this article.
