Setting up a Meta account

To set up a Meta Quest headset you must link it to the Meta Quest mobile app, which requires sign-in to a Meta account. Each headset must have a unique Meta account to ensure Jenson8 applications can be used by multiple headsets simultaneously.

A Meta account can easily be created upon opening the Quest app using an email address, Facebook or Instagram account.

Once the user has created a Meta account, they will progress to the home screen where they will be able to link their headset with the mobile app and continue with setup. Note that users can skip any optional steps such as entering payment details or account customisation.
